Der Helm of the Silent Witness ist ein magischer Helm, der Kastor Vane gehörte, dem Mordak der Wahrheit. Der Helm ist aus dunklem Stahl gefertigt. Er macht Lügen für seinen Träger sichtbar und erlaubt es, Lügner mit einem verborgenen Brandmal zu zeichnen. Gezeichnete Personen bleiben für den Träger über große Entfernungen sichtbar, auch durch Mauern hindurch.

Truthsight. While wearing this helm, you know when a creature you can see within 30 feet of you deliberately lies.
Hidden Brand. When a creature lies within 30 feet of you, you can take a Reaction to brand it. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Charisma saving throw or gain a brand that only you can see. The target doesn’t know it was branded. The brand lasts 7 days, and you can have only one brand active at a time.
While wearing the helm, you can see the branded creature within 5 miles of you, even through walls and other obstacles.
Curse. If you lie while attuned to this helm, you take 2d6 Psychic damage.
